We want to bring the most important parts of the interview made to Luca Asta, A & R of Arteria Music Label, aired in August on radio Tam Tam:
1) In your opinion, Luca, how dance music is changing?
ANSWER: Well, dance music has so many nuances in constant evolution and are full of contamination of other types of music... technology is helping who produce dance music very much and the imagination of people has no limits. The power of dance music is its unpredictability and the fact that you cannot give an evolutionary direction... everything is possible.
2) What will happen to the physical media? I speak specifically of CDs and vinyl.
ANSWER: To say that it seems too risky to die, surely today's vinyl has become a gadget for large producer or labels that want to promote more vigorously its own artists, the cd instead has become the most common way to collect more productions in a unique compilation. The web has revolutionized the entire market and today we have many new high quality on digital stores that are never printed on any support. The only thing we can do is defend the physical media bought when we find things interesting and avoid all the way to pick it illegally.
3) Who'll top the rankings next season?
ANSWER: Unfortunately, I broke the magic ball and now I cannot answer ha ha ha! It 's an impossible question. Surely the great artists and then who will find their musical originality and exit from the mixture of products.
4) Can you do some advances on next releases of Arteria Music Label?
ANSWER: In a few days will be released the new production of Fely B with his project "Black Russian". Here are some 'interesting remix in particular those of Franz Furxhiu & Andrea Guaraldo, Dani Sbert, Terzini Bross and backs that I invite you to hear soon. Instead at the end of September there will be the release of Indiano in collaboration this time with JP Gomez, and the project is called "Oblivion Ep" where you will find three tracks of pure techno: “Deep Forrest”, “Fluid” and “HH 22”.
5) What do you hope to find in future?
ANSWER: Lots of friends who want to share with us that interest that unites us all, dance music. Too much fun in our work.
